Rolling Fire Doors

Available Classifications:
4 HR, 3 HR, 1 1/2 HR, 1 HR and 3/4 HR Underwriters’ Laboratory (UL) labels 3 Hour Approved (optional 4 Hour) for Rolling fire doors and roll up fire shutters in dividing fire walls with openings not exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • 1.5 Hour Approved for rolling metal fire door, in vertical shaft openings not exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • .75 Hour Approved for rolling fire doors and interior or exterior fire shutters in corridor or room-partition opening not exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area. • 1.5 Hour Approved for rolling fire doors in exterior wall opening not exceeding 152 sq. ft. in area.

Our Rolling Overhead Fire Doors are tested & approved for the protection of openings in fire walls, vertical shafts and exterior walls up to 152 sq.ft. with a maximum width or height of up to 13’6”. For openings that exceed these limitations, an oversize label is available for Rolldown fire door sizes up to 56′in width and 30′ in height.

Curtains are constructed of galvanized steel in 2 3/4″ flat, 3″ curved, and 4″ curved slats, and can be finished with powder coating or baked enamel finishes. Each rolling fire door, exterior fire shutter and roll up fire shutter is equipped with a 22 gauge steel hood formed to fit the contour of the end brackets. Durable ductile iron with 1/4″semi-solid rivets, hot dipped end locks and wind locks are available. Our rolling overhead fire door supports and brackets are all steel plates no less than 1/4″ thick. Our Torsion Counterbalance Assembly is state of the art, providing maximum security and ease of use.
